Leaving Thursday night, I finally arrived at Manchester airport at 10am Friday monring and took a bus to Buxton, arriving about 12:30. Found my hotel, a somewhat tacky place called the Portland, and then showed up at rehearsal at 2pm. The other cast members are terribly nice, and we ran through almost everything the Dragoons are in.
Buxton is a lovely market town with an old Opera House, where the performances are held.
Curiously, just across the street is a pub called The Old Clubhouse, where our rehearsals are being held fr the next 2 days. It is a great idea, becase when you take a break it's easy to get a beer!
